📘 Joiners guide — which first skill to send
In a rally only each joiner's FIRST hero counts, and only the 4 joiners with the highest first-skill level (ties go to whoever joined first). Send the hero whose first skill adds a buff category the leaders do not already have: the same category adds, different categories multiply. Ranked here as the first joiner added to the best leader trio of your generation.
🐻 Bear trap formations — best marksman Attack & Lethality per generation
Bear trap is a pure damage race: no need to survive. Rally leaders send 10/10/80 (infantry/lancer/marksman) and joiners send mostly marksmen (90-100%). Heroes are picked to maximize marksman damage (Attack and Lethality first, then the buffs that multiply with them): the leader's three heroes use all skills and weapons, each joiner counts only the first hero's first skill.

How to build a Bear Trap rally

Bear Trap is a damage race against the bear, so survival does not matter. Rally leaders send 10% infantry, 10% lancers and 80% marksmen; joiners send mostly marksmen (90-100%). Heroes are chosen to maximize marksman damage: Attack and Lethality first, then the buffs that multiply with them (enemy Defense down, enemy damage taken). The leader's three heroes use every skill and exclusive weapon, and each joiner counts only the first skill of their first hero. Skills that only work against a troop type are not counted, because the bear is a single monster.

The 10/10/80 split is the community-reported meta (checked by players on Gen 7–12). The leader keeps some infantry and lancers so that all three heroes' skills stay active. Total damage is the skill and weapon multiplier only; hero personal stats come on top.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best troop ratio for Bear Trap in Whiteout Survival?

Rally leaders use 10/10/80 (infantry/lancer/marksman) and joiners send mostly marksmen (90-100%), because marksmen deal the most damage and the bear fight rewards damage, not survival.

Which heroes should I use for Bear Trap?

Do joiners' hero stats matter in Bear Trap?

No. Only the rally leader's heroes bring their stats; joiners add the first skill of their first hero.
